Stock has typical bench handling marks/safe marks, certainly not perfect but not trash either. Its in nice shape (stock 90%, blu 95%), has sundry scope (Tasco 3-9x32 about same age as gun, in great shape and very clear, Tasco Japan I believe), end bell of scope has small dent in it (I didn't do it!). I have fired about 100 rounds in testing after thorough cleaning and it does the typical 1 MOA with Walmart Rem FMJ's. I recently won via online auction a Remington 700 with a heavy 26-inch 7mm-08 barrel and HS Precision stock. This was made for a few years to compete with the Win 770, which was a similar no frills walnut stocked Model 70. 223 Rem bolt action rifle based on the 700 action, so you can do everything to it as if it's a 700 BDL, etc. This is a walnut BIRCH stocked, iron and scoped.
